Commissioning Manager
Vital energi are currently recruiting a Commissioning Manager for Gatwick Airport.
Within this role you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all commissioning activities from design review and pre-commissioning through to integrated testing, seasonal commissioning, practical completion and final client handover.
The role will involve-
- Commissionability reviews and design appraisal.
- Development and management of commissioning strategies and programmes.
- Heat pumps and low-carbon energy systems.
- HVAC systems, including air handling units, ventilation, heating and cooling systems.
- LTHW and CHW distribution networks.
- Pumps, pressurisation units, expansion systems and associated plant.
- BMS, controls integration and system optimisation.
- Electrical distribution, metering and monitoring systems.
- Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
- Witness testing, validation and performance verification.
- Production and review of commissioning plans, method statements and handover documentation.
- Troubleshooting and resolution of commissioning defects.
- Management of commissioning activities within live operational and critical environments.
Location: Gatwick Airport
Attendance: 5 days per week on site
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
To be successful you will have-
- Degree/HNC/HND qualified in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in M&E commissioning, including experience delivering heat pump and low-carbon energy projects.
- Hold a valid SMSTS qualification and CSCS Manager Card, with a thorough understanding of CIBSE Commissioning Codes, BSRIA Commissioning Guides, Building Regulations, and CDM requirements.
