It’s our people that make Vital Energi special, and we recognise the potential and new perspectives that graduates can offer to our business. Investing in talented individuals is essential for continuing to drive innovation and growth, and in turn we’re committed to providing you with the support and opportunities needed to succeed. As we continue to grow and diversify our renewable energy portfolio, we are now on the lookout for our next cohort of enthusiastic graduates to kickstart your career journey and make a difference to our future energy provision.

Vital Energi’s Graduate Programme

Our Graduate programme provides a structured pathway to develop your career in the energy sector. Our Graduates are part of a rotational programme across different business areas where you will experience the full lifecycle of our business from Marketing, SHEQ, ESG, Finance and HR

You’ll be supported by industry experts working within a tailored training plan and gaining the knowledge and experience needed to progress into leadership roles.

What to expect

Our 22-month graduate programme is designed to launch your career in the energy sector by giving you real-world experience, structured development, and long-term opportunities. You’ll join a dedicated pathway in business management and work on live projects from day one, supported by experienced mentors and a personalised development plan. Alongside working in your key function, you’ll take part in six placements (2 weeks each), in different teams across the business. These are spread across your time with us and give you a wider understanding of how our departments connect, helping you build strong networks and a good understanding of how we deliver sustainable energy solutions. We will also support your growth with targeted training sessions, professional development workshops, and regular feedback to help you build both practical and leadership skills. By the end of the programme, you’ll step into a permanent role within your specialism, with continued development and progression opportunities.

Our graduate programme is unlike any other — you’ll rotate through different departments, gain real experience, and discover the career pathway that inspires you most.

Your career beyond our Graduate programme

Once you’ve completed the formal 22 month graduate rotational programme you will be promoted into a role within your specialism, depending on the business stream you are part of. We will continue to support technical and business skills training and any further qualifications desired; ensuring your growth and knowledge enhancement continues for years to come.
