Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the effective delivery of residential O&M contracts
  • Ensure day‑to‑day operations and maintenance activities are delivered in line with contractual and technical requirements
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, attending client meetings and acting as a senior point of escalation
  • Monitor, report, and continuously improve contract performance through robust KPI reporting
  • Ensure full contractual compliance and clearly communicate requirements across the wider business
  • Manage, mentor, and develop Contract Managers, engineers, and wider operational teams
  • Take ownership of contract budgets, cost control, and financial performance across the contract lifecycle
  • Ensure contracts are fully compliant with all statutory, regulatory, health & safety, environmental, and corporate requirements

About You

You’ll be a confident and experienced operational leader with a strong background in facilities management, engineering services, or heat networks, and a proven ability to manage residential contracts.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Several years’ experience as a Contracts Manager or Operations Manager within a facilities management or engineering environment
  • Proven experience managing residential contracts
  • Strong technical understanding of engineering‑led service environments
  • Knowledge of heat networks, district heating, or building services (highly desirable)
  • Solid understanding of health & safety, environmental compliance, and relevant regulations
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

What We Offer

In return, you’ll join a growing, values‑driven organisation with excellent benefits and long‑term career opportunities:

  • Company car
  • Contributory Company Pension Scheme
  • Death‑in‑service life assurance
  • Employee Assistance Programme
